Runts

Runts is a dark supernatural thriller set in a secretive, remote institution known as The Haven, a place that claims to be a sanctuary for abandoned or ‘special needs’ children. But behind its pristine halls and enforced routine lies a horrifying secret: the children are not merely orphans, they are the hybrid offspring of vampires and werewolves, known as ‘Runts,’ and they are prisoners.

These children are the byproducts of ancient, brutal alliances and trysts between two rival immortal species. Born with unstable genetics, they are considered defective, cursed with shortened lifespans, and dangerous abilities. However, their unique blood and organs are invaluable, either as emergency transplants for their immortal fathers or as raw materials for prolonging the lives of ancient creatures who fear death more than war.

The children are kept docile through daily ‘vitamin injections’ and anti-aggression therapies. Their abilities, super speed, strength, rapid healing, and enhanced senses, are dulled, their memories fogged, and their instincts buried. Most don't question their confinement.

When 15-year-old Lizzie dodges security and flees into the outside world, her medication wears off.

Her powers ignite. Her mind clears. And she begins to remember. Tracked by inhuman hunters, she uncovers the horrific truth of The Haven’s purpose and vows to return, not to be recaptured, but to awaken the others.

Runts is a story about stolen childhoods, found family, and the fight to define yourself in a world that only sees you as spare parts.

Odd Street

Welcome to Odd Street.

Nothing here is normal. Not the neighbours. Not the houses. And definitely not the woods.

In this dark and twisting trilogy, Toby stumbles into a world of secrets hidden behind ordinary doors. Monsters wear human faces, ancient curses wake from the earth, and the line between friend and foe is never clear.

From the shadows of back gardens to the heart of a haunted forest, Odd Street is a battle for survival, for truth, and for something worth more than magic.

Strange things happen here.

Toby’s about to find out why.

Odd Street - The Return

Welcome back to Odd Street, where the mail is never just mail, the neighbours are rarely human, and the quietest nights hide the loudest dangers.

Toby thought things had settled.

That the gates were closed.

That monsters stayed behind sealed doors and allies could rest.

But nothing on Odd Street stays quiet for long.

Strange newcomers arrive, long-vanished threats return, and shadows gather around houses that no one remembers being built.

With his map nearly complete, Toby and Ezra must rally the remaining allies and uncover the purpose behind the rising darkness, before the third and final gate is opened.

And all the while, a lone crow watches from above, silent and still.

Some questions Toby doesn’t want the answers to.

But the street has other plans.

Odd Street - Into the Woods

The final chapter of Odd Street is upon us, and the stakes have never been higher.

In Odd Street – Into The Woods, the battle against the dark forces that have plagued Odd Street for generations reaches its ultimate conclusion. Toby, Ezra, and their allies must face an ancient evil, a force that has been lying in wait since before the street was ever built. The woods at the back of Odd Street, once merely a backdrop for Toby’s adventures, have now become the epicentre of a dark and dangerous power that could consume everything Toby loves.

When a mysterious crow begins watching Toby from the trees, he has no idea that the creatures and shadows of the woods are more than just a threat, they’re tied to his own past, and to a secret buried deep in the earth. As the trees whisper and the birds gather, Toby discovers that the key to saving Odd Street may be a sacrifice far greater than anything he could have imagined.

As the ancient evil stirs, Toby will uncover truths he never expected, about the woods, his family, and the destiny that has been waiting for him all along. With new and old allies by his side, he will face down the creatures of the Host, the twisted shape of evil itself, and the haunting truth about his father.

In this final, heart-pounding instalment of the Odd Street trilogy, Toby must make the hardest choice of all: to save his home, he might have to sacrifice the one person he loves most. The woods are waking, and the end is in sight, but whether that end brings peace, or only more darkness, remains to be seen.

Prepare yourself for the final confrontation. The birds are waiting. The woods are restless. And Odd Street will never be the same again.
